Bellissimo Lashes was established in Brisbane in 2017. Bronya had been having regular lash extension refills for over a year at that point and loved the benefits of an easy morning routine with increased confidence. Having worked in Digital Project Management for over 10 years she jumped at an opportunity to follow her heart and go in an entirely new career direction.
There was no denying that lash extensions were becoming increasingly popular so in typical Bronya fashion she gave this her all and moved into full-time lashing.
She stepped into the industry and took an approach that values quality, consistency and longevity as opposed to providing a quick cheap service that will damage the natural eyelashes over time. Bronya also prides herself on having a great relationship with each individual client. We believe this methodology is key to building a business that will stay the course. With a passion for her art and a drive to improve the lash industry Bronya quickly took Bellissimo Lashes from a small home-based business to a growing salon with a solid client base.
The lash industry has been around for a long time but with its rapid growth in recent years we have seen a surge in the number of substandard treatments, damaging work and technicians that request clients to return for fortnightly refills to avoid requiring a new full set. For Bellissimo Lashes this is not acceptable and it has become our mission to provide quality lash extensions, that last, for clients of all ages.
At the very heart of Bellissimo Lashes are our clients and the health of their natural lashes, we strive to provide them with consistently excellent service and results that last, without damaging their natural eyelashes. It’s important to us that all of our clients leave having experienced our signature 5-star service, provided by one of our trained professionals with a minimum of 2 years full-time lashing experience.
Since we opened there has been a large increase in the number of lash artists in Brisbane, which can be partly attributed to the growing number of businesses providing unlicenced “training”. Unfortunately, there is currently no governing body for the application of eyelash extensions in QLD and while we cannot change this, we can ensure that our business does things the right way and follows best practice. All of our staff have completed the relevant government accredited courses and hold valid insurance.
If you are thinking about having lash extensions it is vitally important that you research your lash artist and ensure they are both professionally trained and experienced, as well as insured, with their key focus being your natural lash health. If you have any questions, please contact us and we will be more than happy to try and assist you.
Who knows what the future may bring, but with a solid foundation anything is possible…
